Do they still whistle?: Real-life stories from the Spanish island La Gomera Customer Reviews
:- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Kate Cobb -- Delightful! : Interesting book of short chapters telling different aspects of life in La Gomera. Written with a lightness of touch and humour that will make you laugh out loud. There's such affection for the local people in the pages and insight into island life. Makes you want to go there but somehow you know the experience won't live up to that in this book. Looking forward to another book from Peter Drake ( Reviewed in France on August 11, 2021 )
